Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. I apologize for not being in school today. I am currently performing the patriotic obligation known as Jury Duty. If I am dismissed I will be back before the end of the day, otherwise I will be back tomorrow.
The following are your tasks for today:
- Use the corrections that Dr. Lynch has made on your rough drafts to edit your papers and prepare your final copies. Once you have edited and proofread again and there are absolutely NO spelling or grammatical mistakes you may begin to print your final copies.
- Your final copies should include color and word art. All your vocabulary words should be bold. There should not be any highlighting unless you are using it to make a particular point stand out.
- When you have printed a piece of your book please put the final copy in your student folder. Cross off the item on the check list so you do not print the same thing twice.
- You will each be given a book of blank pages. This is where you will paste in your final copies. You will need to cut out the text, word art and pictures to make them fit on each page. You will only be given ONE copy so try not to make any mistakes.
- Once you have begun to assemble your stories you will have a better idea of what page all your stories will fall on. You will then be able to make up your table of contents and index. Remember to save room in the front of the book for your dedication and contents page. It will be better to skip a few pages in the beginning of the book. If you do not use them you can easily tear them out.
If you have any questions please post it below. I have internet access today so I will check this during the day. I will try to get back to you ASAP. Please give the substitute the same respect that you give me. I will see you all soon.
~Mr. Simoni
